My grill worked perfectly the first time it was put together, although it does take longer to put together than the optimistic instructions state.
Pros: Great for small areas, rolls around easily in case you want to store in garage instead of outdoors, creates those great "grill marks" on your food that makes the grilling more realistic (after all, cooking with electricity outside isn't really BBQ'ing, is it?). Temperature gauge on top tells you how hot things are getting inside.
Cons: Somewhat short electric cord so you either need a good extension cable, or to be a little closer to the house than I like.
I've only used it once so I don't have experience with the cleanup process yet.
We have had the grill since the spring of 2000 (almost 8 years). This grill is used 4-5 times a week -- 52 weeks a year. That's over 1,500 uses for one grill and it should make it to 2,000. Because it is electric it sits on our screened back porch -- out of the elements. We have had to replace the controls one time and now are relacing the elements. We are looking for another one to have when this one finally plays out. All we do is pre-heat for 15 min. and then cook meat (steak, pork, chicken, vegatables) on the highest heat (not what the book says) with the cover closed. We know the exact time it takes to cook every item by now, so we just set a timer to tell us when to turn the food and/or when it's done. Couldn't be easier. The meats are always juicy and flavorful. You never have the "gas" taste that you sometimes get with charcoal or gas grills. The juice hitting the brickets and turning into steam gives the food the grilled flavor -- just as with gas and charcoal grills.
One note -- you need to clean the grill frequently, as you would any grill. We use a large pan to catch the drippings that never seem to drip into the can. We put newspapers in a pan and then throw the papers away without having to scrub the pan.
The Char Broil Grill cover was received in good order and in OK time. It fitted my grill perfectly. I was a pit perturbed about the health warnings with regard to the grill cover material.

Why no love for this grill cover? I can't help but wonder if they've altered how it is made recently, because ours is just fine.
We received this grill cover free on Amazon with the purchase of our grill (Char-Broil Patio Caddie Gas Grill), but because the reviews were so poor, I wasn't expecting much. However, I can't complain about this cover at all - it's relatively thick and sturdy, and features a strong elastic band around the bottom so that it doesn't easily flap off or get blown away. It is great for keeping the weather off our grill and it has yet to crack or fade (although it hasn't been terribly sunny lately, so that may change).
I'm glad we received this free, but if it were lost or stolen, I'd probably buy another as a replacement, so I guess that's an endorsement on my part.

I've been looking for a decent way to store my spices up off the counter and out of the cabinets, and a set of these works perfectly! They are better quality than I thought they'd be, considering the sale price, and they look great in my kitchen. The bottles used are all the same, so you can store one hook and add bottles to the bottom of another stick, or change the number of bottles on each stick. Great design!
Once I figured out how to unclip the old burners, replacing them was a (messy) breeze. I also ordered & installed new heat plates & connectors. I spent almost 0, but my (originally 0) grill works like new.
